What it is
An eight-year-old orphan is sent from her mountain home to a wealthy household in Frankfurt, where she becomes a companion to a sheltered girl. Though she tries to adapt and cherish her new friendship, she deeply misses the freedom of the Alps and the grandfather she loves.
